How to buy prepaid airtime
Cellphone Banking
- Dial *120*321# on your cellphone.
- A 'Welcome to Cellphone Banking' message will be displayed.
- Key in your 5-digit Cellphone Banking PIN selected at registration and select 'Reply'.
- Select 'Prepaid'.
- Select 'Airtime'.
- Select 'Enter Num'.
- Enter cellphone number for which you want to buy airtime.
- Select the airtime amount or the option to specify your own amount.
- Review the confirmation screen and if you need to make any changes, select the applicable option. If you are satisfied with the details, select Confirm.
Remember, if you have no airtime, you can still buy airtime for yourself or for someone else who is on the same network as you, by dialing *130*321#.
ATM
- Put your ATM card into the ATM
- Choose the Prepaid option
- Choose the Network Operator (Cell C, MTN, Virgin Mobile or Vodacom)
- Enter the cellphone number of the cellphone that you want to buy Prepaid Airtime for
- Enter the amount of airtime that you want to buy
