SLOW International and Domestic Airport Lounges
As a valued FNB Private Wealth Current or Credit card holder, you can experience a place where chaos can't enter, where the journey matters as much as the destination and where a deep breath can last hours. This is SLOW, a brief rejuvenating pause before you re-enter the real world.
You need to have met the rewards qualifying criteria and have a rewards level to enjoy free access. Your reward level will determine how many free entries you are entitled each month. If you are not on a reward level you will have access to the lounge but at a fee (please see Qualifying Criteria and Fees below)
The SLOW Lounge boasts the following:
- Seasonal, freshly prepared food
- Imported coffee prepared by a barista
- A business centre - a work environment of the highest standard (Apple Macs, complimentary Wi-Fi access, printing and faxing facilities)
- A library filled with recreational and business books for your reading pleasure
- Private marble bathrooms
- Armani spa offering where you get a complimentary 15-20 minute treatment before your flight
In additional to this, the SLOW Lounge at OR Tambo International offers you:
- A front-of-house kitchen with a chef to prepare exquisite meals
- Private dens and studies to catch up on work or simply relax
- VIP private suite with en-suite bathroom for families travelling
As an FNB Private Wealth Current or Credit card holder, you may enjoy the exclusive benefits of the SLOW lounge.
SLOW Lounges can be found in the Domestic terminals of O. R. Tambo, Cape Town and King Shaka International Airports.
Bidvest Airport Lounges
At airports without SLOW Lounges or where capacity in the SLOW Lounge has been reached, FNB Private Wealth Current and Credit cardholders are welcome to use the Premier Lounges. Bidvest Lounges can be found at O. R. Tambo International, Cape Town International, King Shaka International, Port Elizabeth, East London and George Airports.
Qualifying Criteria and Fees
As an FNB Private Wealth Current or Credit card holder, you qualify for free entry based on your reward level as follows:

If you are not on a reward level, the fee per entry is R250 for the Domestic Lounges and R500 for the International Lounges.
SLOW Lounge Access Rules
- All entries are non-transferable. Any additional entries (in excess of those mentioned above) will be charged for.
- Only valid cards will be accepted. No expired cards will be accepted.
- Access only permitted on presentation and swiping of the applicable card by the cardholder.
- The card presented must be in the cardholder's name.
- Only one card will be permitted per cardholder and must be accompanied by a boarding pass. Both the card and the boarding pass must be issued in the same individual's name.
- SLOW reserves the right to decline entry should any of the lounges be full. Access is subject to availability, according to SLOW lounge capacity and safety rules.
- SLOW reserves the right of admission and retains the right to deny access should they deem necessary.
- Cardholders under the age of 18 years will not be permitted access unless accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years.
- Linked (secondary) current or credit cards share the visits allocated to primary cardholder (i.e. visits are allocated at account level and not on a card/plastic level).

Bidvest Lounge Access Rules
- The Bidvest Lounges will not accept any FNB Private Wealth cardholders with expired cards.
- The Bidvest Lounges will not allow the passenger into the lounge without an FNB Private Wealth card present.
- The Bidvest Lounges will only permit the cardholder access to the lounges if the FNB Private Wealth Credit Card or Current Card presented is in their individual name.
- Only one card (FNB Private Wealth Credit Card or Current Card) will be permitted per client requiring access to the lounge and must be accompanied by a boarding pass (both the card and the boarding pass must be in the same individual's name).
