  • You need to have an FNB transactional or RMB Private Bank transactional account
  • Have an active FNB Home Loan

 

Terminal Illness Benefit

In the event of your death, we will automatically settle your FNB Home Loan, unless you have specified a different beneficiary.

 

Permanent Disability Cover

Dynamic Life» Home Permanent Disability is combined with Life Cover. This means it reduces your Life Cover by the amount claimed, but offers the advantage of more affordable premiums.

Permanent Disability pays between 25 - 100% (based on the severity) if you become impaired.

Examples of impairments include: Major burns, the loss or use of your hand or the permanent loss of hearing in both ears, or if you are unable to look after yourself due to a disability.

 

Retrenchment Benefit

Let us help you protect your income by adding cover for retrenchment or inability to earn an income. Plus, you only pay for the cover you need because your monthly premiums and cover amount automatically change with the balance of your home loan. The benefit will help you manage your monthly financial obligations.

Dynamic Life

  • Cover period of up to 12 months or until you find new employment.
  • Cover for both retrenchment or an inability to earn an income.

Important information to note

  • Pays the monthly home loan instalment for duration of the claim.
  • Cover does not pay out if you only have a partial loss of income.
  • Cover does not pay out if you were aware of your retrenchment during the 3 months before the start of this cover or if you are retrenched during the first 3 months of cover.
  • Benefit ends at the age of 65 years.
  • A 3-month waiting period will apply where no claim will be paid from the benefit start date (or reinstatement) and from the date of your last retrenchment benefit claim payment, for any subsequent claim.

 

Critical Illness Cover

Helps reduce the financial strain in the event of illness and injury and provides up to 100% cover. To help you manage the financial burden of suffering from a serious illness, you get cover for a wide range of specified illnesses and injuries. It includes automatic child cover, that pays a lump sum amount if your child is diagnosed with a critical illness, and a future family benefit, that pays an additional 10% of your cover amount for a valid cancer claim, to use towards fertility preservation treatment. Dynamic Life» Comprehensive Home Critical Illness is combined with your Life Cover.

This means it reduces your Life Cover by the amount claimed but offers the advantage of more affordable premiums. Cover pays on diagnosis and includes illnesses and injuries that you could recover from.

Examples of critical illnesses include: cancer, heart attack, strokes and coronary bypass grafts.

 

Helping you make a selection

With the Dynamic Life» Home Plan, you will be covered for the outstanding amount on your FNB Home Loan. Your cover and your premiums are directly linked to your outstanding Home Loan balance and will automatically adjust as the outstanding balance changes. This ensures you don't over pay for cover that you don't need.
