How this plan can help you

In-court representation

Up to R180 000 per matter with a dedicated lawyer and R3 million lifetime cover

Such as domestic employment agreements, residential leases, loan agreements and more

How FNB Law on Call compares to regular firms:

A regular law firm can charge over R2 000 per an hour and often require a down payment of at least R10 000.

Added value

Cover starts immediately

No waiting periods apply, you are covered as soon as it's approved by the insurer.

Retrenchment premium waiver

If you are retrenched, we will waive premiums for up to 6 months while you are unemployed.

Side hustle consultation

We will provide you with a telephonic consultation with a commercial lawyer to guide you on your business's legal requirements.

One-hour face-to-face consultation

For matters not covered by the plan.

Cover for your parents

Add up to 4 parents to your plan from a reduced monthly rate of R35 per parent.

Expert Fees

Up to R25 000 cover for expert costs.

The PLUS option will be up to R100 000.

  • South African citizen or permanent resident
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid South African bank account

We will help you with the following matters:

  • If you are getting married, we will draft an antenuptial contract
  • We will assist you in court if you are getting a divorce and the divorce is unopposed
  • If you have a child, we will help you with a maintenance order to share custody and child care
  • To protect and defend against domestic violence

Standard legal cover that offers you 24/7 telephonic legal assistance, in-court representation and legal contracts.

  • In court representation: Up to R180 000 per matter with a dedicated lawyer and R3 million lifetime cover
  • Legal Documents: Such as domestic employment agreements, residential leases, loan agreements and more

Law on Call Personal Plan Plus(New! R199 per month)

  • We provide you with professional telephonic counselling support for the wellbeing of your loved ones.
  • If you pass away due to an accident, we pay up to R200 000 executor's fee towards your deceased estate if FNB Fiduciary is your appointed Executor on your Will.

Extensive legal cover that offers you a R500 000 case limit per legal matter whilst providing you access to domestic worker cover, accidental death executor fee benefit, side hustle support, rental property assistance and professional telephonic counselling support.

  • Lifetime Cover: Up to R500 000 per matter with a dedicated lawyer and R3 million lifetime cover
  • Accidental Death Executor Fee Benefit: pays up to R200 000 Executor's Fee, to your deceased estate held with FNB Fiduciary as your appointed Executor, if you pass away due to an accident.
  • Side Hustle Support: provides you with up to 5 different telephonic consultations per plan, with our internal lawyers regarding legal advice on your start up business.
  • Domestic Worker Cover : Add up to 2 domestic workers onto the plan.
  • Rental Property Assistance: covers the entire eviction process for your secondary residential property.
  • Professional telephonic counselling support: Get support for you and everyone covered under the plan.

We will help you with the following matters:

  • Where there is a contract in place and a dispute arises or the other party is in breach of the contract
  • In the event where your property is being repossessed

Law on Call Personal Plus Plan

  • Rental Assistance for Property - get assistance with the eviction process for your secondary residential property that is leased.

 

Labour

We will help you:

  • Protect yourself against unfair dismissal
  • Where you are treated unfairly at work e.g. inappropriate working conditions, unfair demotions, unpaid wages and unauthorised salary deductions
  • With disciplinary proceedings and hearings against you
  • If you are being discriminated against

 

Civil and
Criminal

If there is criminal case against you, we help with the bail application and the court proceedings.

We will help you:

  • Where a person causes bodily injury and you want to claim for damages or compensation
