This policy will not cover damages due to lack of maintenance, wear and tear or gradual deterioration. It will not cover intentional damages, existing damage, a property that is of sub-standard quality or structures that have not been approved by the relevant municipality. If you are held liable as the homeowner for injury, illness or accidental death to another person or damage to property, we will compensate you for up to R5 million.
